GARDENING DAY

BCHS is deeply grateful for the extraordinary generosity shown by an incredible team of volunteers from Goldman Sachs. In one day of very hard work, they delivered a much needed makeover to the courtyard of Brooklyn Gardens. Joined by a number of BCHS residents and staff, the team cleared weeds and debris, laid new topsoil and mulch, and planted a wide array of trees, bushes, and flowers. Throughout the summer and into the warm fall, the gardens have remained beautiful--full of conversation, laughter, activity and community.
