OUR EXPERTS

Jeff Nemetsky, Executive Director

Mr. Nemetsky was hired as Executive Director in October of 2005. Prior to his joining BCHS, he spent seven years working for New Alternatives for Children, Inc., a highly regarded child welfare agency. Mr. Nemetsky served as Associate Executive Director for Policy, Planning and Program Development, and as the Director of Operations, Policy and Planning. Prior to this, Mr. Nemetsky served as the Director of Planning and Analysis for the New York City Administration for Children's Services, where he played an important role in helping to develop the Neighborhood Based Services initiative. He has also served as the Director of Planning for the New York City Department for the Aging.

Mr. Nemetsky received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University.

 

Wendy Junious, Assistant Executive Director for Program Services

Ms. Junious joined BCHS in 1993. She started in Arbor Inn working her way from Senior Case Manager to Program Director. In 2005 she became the Assistant Executive Director for Program Services. During her tenure as Director, Arbor Inn was ranked as the third highest rated program out of 134 such programs by DHS.

Ms. Junious is active in the Council on Homeless Policy and Procedures Professional Development Committee. She has Bachelor of Science Degree, and is currently working on a Masters in Special Education with an expected graduation date of December 2006.
